October 2017 Pantry Items

For the month of October, we are doing something a little different. Instead of collecting hygiene items, we are collecting food items to donate to the St. Marks Food Pantry. All non-perishable food items are accepted and can be donated either at St. Marks Episcopal or at Hope Presbyterian.

If you would like to donate to or volunteer for the Hope Pantry, please call 317-839-2797 or stop by on Sunday mornings 9am to 12pm.

Serving God through our Hope Hygiene Pantry

The Hope Hygiene Pantry was established in 2011 to collect and distribute essential health and hygiene products for those in Hendricks County who struggle financially. The pantry helps to fill the gap in very important health and hygiene issues. The congregation collects and purchases products, and delivers them to 8 food pantries, as well as Sheltering Wings and The Gathering Together hospice care. The pantries and non-profits distribute the items to those in need.

In 2015, Hope Pantry delivered over 14,000 items serving approximately 1,120 families. We would very much welcome the support of classrooms, schools, businesses, service organizations, and caring individuals. Although we have a product of the month campaign, we would most appreciate any of the following items:

  • Toilet Tissue

  • Bath Soap

  • Toothpaste

  • Tooth Brushes

  • Shampoo

  • Deodorant

  • Dish Soap

  • Laundry Soap

  • Paper Towels

  • 39 Gallon Garbage Bags

  • Facial Tissue
