Deciding on a church family can be a very challenging thing especially if you don’t know what to expect when you walk through the doors. Here’s what you will find at Hope.

What are services like at Hope Church?

In our worship service at 10:30am, worship participants enjoy traditional hymns, scripture readings, and congregational responses with interactive sermons and contemporary worships elements. This is an opportunity to praise God through song, spoken work, motion, visuals and preaching. Through worship, we endeavor to engage your sense of God’s presence in your life and uplift your heart to serve the mission of Jesus Christ. Clothing is casual.

What will happen the first time I visit?

As you walk through the front door of Hope, you will be welcomed by our greeters who will direct you into the sanctuary. These are members of our church and will answer any questions that you might have about the church or the service.

Where Do I Park?

You may park in the lot on the South side of the church and enter through the front doors. If it is raining, we have doors on the West side with an overhang that will keep you dry and allow you to enter the church. Both sets of doors are wheelchair accessible.

What do you have for children?

God’s children of all ages are very welcome here at Hope. We strive to include children in all aspects of our church worship and mission. Please visit out Children Ministry page for more information.

How can I get involved at Hope Church?

There are many ways you can answer God’s call on your life here at Hope. Hope is constantly engaged in local mission (Hope Hygiene Products Pantry, Sheltering Wings) and would love to have you help us serve Christ in these missions. If you are gifted in music or worship leadership, you would be welcomed to share your gifts during worship with this congregation. Any God-given gift you can give to Hope will continue to strengthen and bless the work we are doing here.

How often and when do you participate in Communion?

We participate in communion once a month and it is always on the First Sunday of each month. We also have communion every year at a special Maundy Thursday service (the Thursday before Easter) to commemorate when the Last Supper took place.

How involved can I be in the church without being a member?

Hope Church’s model of ministry involves the people and pastors as partners. At Hope we believe that everyone who seeks to follow Jesus Christ has spiritual gifts to offer in service to Christ and that all people can serve in ministry regardless of their membership in the church. People can become involved to whatever extent they choose; however, officers must be members of the church.
